Search Terms
A name, place, or other term entered in a search box is sent to the independent provider that operates that tool. We do not store or log those search terms on our own systems. The provider's privacy terms govern its processing.
Messages
If you send an email or contact submission, we retain the message and contact details as needed to respond. We do not share that message outside our organization unless law requires disclosure.

Your Privacy Choices
Subject to applicable law and the limits of our records, you may ask for a copy of personal data we hold, request correction of inaccurate data, seek deletion, or object to certain processing. Iowa Code chapter 22 governs public records held by Iowa agencies, not private data held by this site. A request to us cannot alter an official sheriff, jail, court, or corrections record.

We may revise this notice as site practices or legal duties change. A revised version becomes effective when posted here with its new effective date.
